Commercial Aerospace Contract Manufacturing & Engineering

Soar with a Leader in Aerospace Manufacturing and Engineering Support Services

Spartronics is trusted by customers worldwide as a full-service contract manufacturing partner they can rely on for quality, expertise, swift delivery, and dedicated customer support.

Our commercial aerospace programs are supported across multiple U.S. and international manufacturing locations, with aerospace-relevant process capability and inspection infrastructure published at the facility level. This includes advanced SMT assembly, environmental stress screening, configuration management controls, and supply chain governance processes aligned with regulated aerospace expectations.

At Spartronics, quality is the bottom line. Our customers operate in a complex, highly regulated industry where every life matters and every product and system is held to the highest standard. In turn, we guarantee that every solution we deliver meets the pinnacle of quality for our customers, and for the safety of passengers worldwide.

In commercial aerospace environments, this means disciplined documentation control, inspection rigor, traceability from receipt through shipment, and adherence to aerospace-recognized quality frameworks including AS9100 and Nadcap-accredited special processes. These controls are implemented across aerospace-focused facilities and are supported by site-level configuration management systems and engineering validation practices.

CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE AND QUALITY CERTIFICATIONS

With specialized global Aerospace and Defense Centers of Excellence, and as a NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program) supplier, our quality management systems are designed to meet the high expectations of our customers through rigorous compliance with regulatory and global industry standards — ultimately ensuring unfailing reliability and safety.

Aerospace-dedicated facilities maintain AS9100D certification, and Nadcap-accredited special processes to ensure disciplined execution across safety-critical programs. These certifications are not simply compliance markers—they reflect structured quality systems, controlled documentation, validated special processes, and continuous audit oversight. For our aerospace partners, this means predictable execution, reduced qualification risk, and alignment with the regulatory expectations that govern commercial flight systems.ISO 9001

While many commercial aerospace programs are governed by confidentiality requirements, Spartronics supports OEM and sub-prime customers across avionics and flight-critical subsystems—including assemblies such as flight data recorders and aircraft engine control electronics. This experience translates into familiarity with certification-driven documentation, configuration control discipline, and the long production lifecycles typical of commercial aircraft platforms.

APPLICATIONS OVERVIEW

Our commercial aerospace customers demand some of the world’s most reliable systems. With dedicated Aerospace & Defense Centers of Excellence, the technology-driven solutions we build are for applications in avionics, such as flight data recording, landing, and engine control. We understand the importance of testing to ensure components operate safely and effectively is our priority.

Spartronics environmental and reliability validation processes across aerospace-focused sites are designed to reduce latent defects before assemblies ever reach integration. Capabilities such as environmental stress screening (ESS), thermal cycling, vibration conditioning, burn-in, and high-potential testing are paired with layered inspection methods including 3D SPI, AOI, X-ray, boundary scan, and in-circuit testing. Together, these controls increase defect detection coverage, strengthen product robustness, and help protect flight-critical systems from early-life failure.

PRODUCT & SERVICES OVERVIEW

Spartronics has the versatility to serve as a full-service manufacturing and system integration partner across the product lifecycle. Our rigorous production system, extensive capabilities, lean manufacturing, and robust supply-chain management help ensure success in aerospace applications.

Our engineering support is structured to reduce program risk from prototype through sustained production. Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Test (DFT), and Design for Assembly (DFA) practices improve build repeatability and inspection access early in the lifecycle. Configuration management systems support revision control and documentation traceability, while EVT/DVT and acceptance test procedure development help validate performance prior to release. These engineering controls support stable transitions from development builds to certified production.

We offer a breadth of manufacturing technologies from legacy pin through hole — with extensive touch labor and special processes including selective solder — to leading-edge assembly including evolving development of miniaturization of components and product footprint. We also offer extensive testing capabilities including flying probe, ICT, functional, acceptance, RF, environmental and mechanical.

Supply chain governance is structured to protect aerospace programs from quality escapes and counterfeit risk. Lot and date-code traceability is maintained throughout manufacturing and outside processing, supporting root-cause analysis and recall containment if required. When specified, AS9102 First Article Inspection reinforces dimensional and configuration conformity. Counterfeit mitigation controls emphasize sourcing through authorized channels, component traceability to original manufacturers, and monitoring mechanisms aligned with recognized aerospace practices. These controls both strengthen supply chain integrity while reducing downstream program exposure.

These traceability and compliance controls are complemented by our logistics processes that address export regulations along with cross-border program execution. For aerospace customers managing global production or multi-site integration, this is an alignment that supports smoother international transfers, reduced compliance friction, and continuity across geographically distributed supply chains.
